The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is losing one of their own, as Garcelle Beauvais announces that she is stepping away from the franchise at the end of season 14. After five seasons, it will definitely be a loss to have Garcelle walking away from the housewives.

According to The Daily Dish, Garcelle Beauvais did make it clear that this is not necessarily a "goodbye." So does this mean that she could return in the future? Well, it is entirely possible that like other housewives she could make a return down the line. She could also pop up as a friend of the housewives as well, similar to RHOA's Cynthia Bailey or RHOSLC's Mary Cosby.

So why exactly is Garcelle walking away from RHOBH? It turns out that there are two very good reasons why she is stepping back. One has to do with family, and the other revolves around her career.

Garcelle Beauvais announces that she leaving RHOBH after Season 14

The first reason given for why Garcelle Beauvais is leaving RHOBH is because of her two sons. She explained, "Their last year of high school is next year and I want to be a part of that. And Jaid is starting a new career and I want to be a part of that too." And honestly, if that was the only reason given, it would have been enough.

It makes perfect sense that as a mom, Garcelle wants to give more of her time to her children and quite a bit of time and energy goes into being part of the Housewives franchise. It is not just the filming, it is also the promotion and time spent dealing with the press when the season airs as well.

So what was the second reason for Garcelle stepping away? While she couldn't give fans too many details, she did share that, "I have the most exciting projects that I am developing, producing, and acting in." With more work on the table, along with her family obligations, it makes sense that she doesn't have time for RHOBH.

We are definitely sad to see Garcelle go, but hopefully she will pop up on the series in the future. Perhaps she could return as a friend or even take back her crown down the road. Since she made it clear that this is not a goodbye, we hope that she will make a comeback in a later season.

Now we just have to wonder who will take her place as a new RHOBH housewife. And will they have what it takes to keep us coming back for more?
