A second lawsuit against Lisa Barlow and her tequila brand has been dismissed
It sounds like people are coming for The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City's Lisa Barlow. But even if they try it, she is clearly finding a way to win.
Earlier this year, Barlow was hit with a lawsuit for over $400,000 in relation to her tequila brand, Vida Tequila. The lawsuit alleged that the RHOSLC star owed Bart Carlson approximately $410,000 in loans from the past decade, that had not yet been paid back. Of course, Lisa Barlow denied these allegations and made it clear that she not only pays her bills, but she would have no problem defending herself against people attempting to take her down.
However, this new lawsuit seems to have come from someone completely different. As TMZ reports, "William M. McGeary claims John Barlow told McGeary's son Vida Tequila needed cash for raw materials to fulfill orders. McGreary says he agreed to loan them $400K through his trust, and the terms were crystal clear -- the due date to pay the money back was December 27, 2023."
It certainly sounds like a very similar situation to what happened with the first "loan" even down to how much was allegedly borrowed. But it turns out that any speculation about this latest lawsuit has been quickly put to rest, as TMZ did reach out to Barlow for a statement about the newest case.
Apparently this particular lawsuit has since been dismissed. In an update to the original TMZ report they shared that Lisa Barlow told them that "her lawyers have notified her that this lawsuit was dismissed."
Honestly, it sounds like Barlow is quickly putting out fires surrounding her Vida Tequila and not letting people try to come for her financially. Whether or not there is any truth to either of these lawsuits, it seems like the courts are on the RHOSLC star's side based on whatever evidence has been presented.
Here's hoping there aren't more people looking to take Lisa to court, as we really just want to get ready for the drama of a new season of RHOSLC and not another court case or lawsuit.
What do you think about the two lawsuits that have been brought against Barlow and her tequila brand?
