Sam Asghari is not allowed to mention Britney Spears on The Traitors season 3

The Traitors season 3 is currently in production and with a stacked cast, we can only imagine how entertaining this upcoming installment will be. One person in the cast who definitely got a few of us talking had to be Sam Asghari. For anyone not familiar with Asghari, he is Britney Spears' ex-husband.

While you might expect that a man who has spent years with Spears and was married to her for over a year would have something to say about his ex, we won't get to find out what that is. That is because according to Reality Tea, Asghari is not allowed to speak about his ex-wife at all. That includes any positive comments as well.

Does it matter that Sam Asghari can't talk about Britney Spears on The Traitors?

On The Traitors, getting screentime can be a bit of a challenge with so many diverse personalities in one castle. And for people who may be lesser known than others, it can be even more of difficult to be seen when you are surrounded by Bravo Housewives, Survivor legends, and more. So when it comes to Asghari, one might have thought that he would be using his connection to Spears to get some of that coveted screentime.

However, with a ban on talking about Spears, Asghari is going to have to find another way to get people's attention. And that's okay. We want people to stand out on their own, without it being about the celebrity connections that they have. (If you aren't interesting enough to get our attention without your external relationships bolstering you, then why are you on a show like The Traitors?)

Although we can't imagine Asghari really even wanting to talk about his ex-wife on The Traitors, it is good to know in advance that he has to completely avoid mentioning her at all. That being said, it should be interesting to see how the rest of the cast handles the fact that he is not allowed to talk about his ex. Will they mention her in front of him or will they all stay away from the invisible singer in the room?
