The Real Housewives of Atlanta has had some major casting announcements when it comes to the upcoming cast of season 16. So far, it's been revealed that Kandi Burruss, who Andy Cohen had nothing but positive things to say about following her departure, will not be returning to the show for the newest season, and that Kenya Moore confirmed that there's no way NeNe Leakes will be coming back to the show.
In the latest announcement, Porsha Williams has announced that she'll be returning to the series for season 16. Porsha Williams joined the cast in season 5 before leaving for seasons 14 and 15.
During her original run on the show, Porsha Williams was seen seeking love following her divorce from her NFL player husband, Kordell Stewart, that was also featured on the show. Along with being one of the main housewives, she had one season of a spin-off show, Porsha's Family Matters, and has published one book, The Pursuit of Porsha.
In an Instagram video posted to her account, Porsha Williams announced that she would be returning to Bravo to appear on the 16th season of The Real Housewives of Atlanta.
"I’m looking forward to being back onThe Real Housewives of Atlanta, and showing the world my new world!" Porsha said in the video, shared to her social media accounts on February 13, 2024.
NBCUniversal Entertainment gave the following statement about Porsha Williams' return to RHOA: "Porsha Williams Guobadia is a multi-hyphenate and we are fortunate to collaborate and tap into her creativity and passion through this partnership. Our audience has supported and admired Porsha as she so authentically, hilariously and vulnerably shared her life over the years and we couldn’t be more excited to welcome her back to the NBCU family."
