Phaedra Parks is finally coming back to RHOA after a six-year hiatus

Phaedra Parks is reality TV gold. While she was once a shining star on The Real Housewives of Atlanta, drama and rumors had her exiting the show following season 9. But that hasn't kept her off of our screens.

In fact, Parks was part of another BRAVO series in the form of Married to Medicine. And while her wit and humor made her a standout on that show, it was actually her turn as one of the traitors on season 2 of The Traitors that reminded everyone that Phaedra Parks makes great TV.

So it likely comes as no surprise that now that Kandi Burruss is gone from RHOA for season 16, and the cast seems to be imploding, it was time for BRAVO to shake things up. And what better way to do that than by giving Phaedra her peach back?

According to a report from Deadline, Phaedra Parks will continue to be a part of Married to Medicine, while also being a part of RHOA for season 16. This means that she is definitely going to be on our screens a lot more than she has been in the last few years. And we are certainly not mad at that. After her turn as a traitor, she definitely deserves a chance to shine once again as part of the housewives.

Phaedra Parks took to social media to let everyone know that they asked and she answered. Her post on Instagram, which came on July 29 showed Phaedra stepping off of a plane holding a peach in the palm of her hand. And she definitely looked ready to take on all of Atlanta in her two-piece look that also saw her holding a gorgeous pink fur (possibly faux fur) coat.

Honestly, we can't wait to see how Phaedra makes her triumphant return to RHOA. And we really hope that bringing her back is enough to help shake things up and save the franchise. RHOA has long been a favorite of the Housewives franchise, but the last few seasons have not been the best, with the storylines feeling stale and the ladies not having the chemistry that the earlier cast had.

We love that BRAVO listened to the fans and we can't wait to see how RHOA rebounds from both the recent drama, the loss of Kandi, and of course the exit of Kenya Moore within the first half of season 16 filming.
