Monica Garcia may not be a housewife on The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City anymore, but that doesn't mean that the drama ends. And for Garcia, it seems like quite a bit of that drama has to do with her mother, Linda Darnell.

Recently, Linda took to social media to call out her daughter for being a neglectful mother. Not only did she say that her daughter was neglecting her kids, but she also claimed that she was leaving her kids for four days at a time without supervision. Linda wants Monica to stay home and just use the child support she gets from her ex-husband to take care of the bills and the children.

Of course, Monica Garcia is not someone who lets people make comments like this without coming back with a rebuttal. And in this case, Monica came out full force against her mother's neglect claims.

On social media, Monica decided to speak out against the idea that she was neglecting her children. According to Reality Tea, Monica started the conversation by pointing out her mother's hypocrisy by saying, "I know you’re not talking about me leaving my girls in their own home for four days when you sent me to a different state to live with friends for over a year!"

From there, the former housewife decided to address the neglect claim head-on. She made it clear that she has a "tribe" that supports her even when she has to go away for work. From neighbors to her best friend and more, she made it clear that there are people who have her back, even if it is not her mother.

"I’m working and trying, I’m really trying. And I’m being mom-shamed by my f*cking mom. Shout out to all the moms working their ass off. Shout out to all the dads working their ass off."

Monica Garcia

This is not the first time that Monica Garcia has had to defend herself against comments about the type of mother she is and the fact that she is out there hustling. Back in January, she made a social media post about comments that she was receiving, and at the time she defended herself in regards to her parenting and the type of person that she is. She also sent a shoutout to all the other parents out there who are doing this by themselves.

Honestly, there is clearly a lot of anger and bitterness in the mix between Monica and her mother. It is plain to see that Monica is doing her very best to not only be a good mom to her children but also be a hardworking woman who doesn't need other people to support her.

Here's hoping that we get to see Monica back in action on RHOSLC in the future. She brings so much to the table that we already know we will miss her in the next season of the series.
