What exactly does Monica Garcia regret about her time on RHOSLC so far?

We all know that Monica Garcia has truly made a splash as a new housewife on The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City. But what does she regret about her time as part of the franchise so far?

It actually might not surprise you to learn that Garcia regrets making that one big purchase that she was using to fit in with the other ladies. According to US Weekly, the RHOSLC housewife exclusively told them:

"Oh, my God. You already know. Freaking Louis Vuitton. Which, a lot of people are saying is fake, and it’s a real bag. That was a real hard purchase."

That’s right — her biggest regret from being on RHOSLC at this point is the fact that she intentionally bought a Louis Vuitton bag in order to feel like she was like the other women.

During the episode where she talked about her purchase and why she bought the bag to begin with, Monica Garcia explained that she knew it was stupid to do, but at the same time, she just wanted to be a part of the group.

Honestly, we don’t blame her for both wanting to fit in and regretting the fact that she actually did make the purchase for that reason. Even when the episode aired, I felt a lot of sympathy for Garcia because it made sense that she would want to have a “symbol of wealth” so she could fit in with the ladies. And yet, we also hated it because it is a reminder that there are a lot of people who are clearly all about appearances and will judge others based on the wealth they are showing off.

We can’t help but appreciate the fact that Monica Garcia was open about this being a regret from her first season on the series. And it is pretty refreshing to have a housewife make it clear that they regret a purchase that was made in an effort to either fit in with the group or even just to show off a measure of wealth.
