Married to Medicine season 10 reunion will feature a major reunion
By Lacey Womack
Bravo's Married to Medicine season 10 reunion will be airing on March 3, but People is reporting that the reunion is going to be featuring a major reunion between Phaedra Parks and her ex, Apollo Nida. Nida has been absent from the season, but he was the topic of discussion after missing the birthday party of one of his and Parks' children, so it'll be interesting to see him appear at the reunion.
According to People, none of Parks' Married to Medicine co-stars were aware that Nida would be making an appearance at the reunion before he arrived. Plus, Parks and Nida haven't been on TV together since The Real Housewives of Atlanta's 7th season.
All about Phaedra Parks and Apollo Nida's divorce
As fans of either Married to Medicine or The Real Housewives of Atlanta are already well aware, Nida and Parks' marriage didn't end on a good note, so it's surprising to hear that Nida made a surprise appearance at the reunion. According to the source, Nida appeared on the reunion to support Parks and discuss the way the two of them co-parent their two children.
The pair were initially married in 2009 and joined RHOA in its third season. Although the show watched them welcome their two sons into the world and work on their business ventures, things weren't all sunshine and rainbows as Nida was sentenced to eight years in prison and a hefty fine for fraud.
It was shortly after Nida started his prison sentence that Parks filed for divorce in 2015, his prison term obviously just being the final straw between the two of them in a marriage that was already struggling. Since then, Nida was remarried to a woman he appeared on MTV's Couples Retreat with, but Phaedra Parks has kept her love life fairly private this time around.
When did Phaedra Parks join Married to Medicine?
Phaedra Parks left RHOA after season 9, though there is some speculation online that she'll be returning for season 16 as the cast faces some major shakeups and has yet to be announced.
In true Bravo fashion, her departure from RHOA wasn't without drama -- she left the show after making some pretty intense accusations about Kandi Burruss. Following the season 9 reunion, it was reported that Phaedra Parks had told Porsha Williams that Kandi Burruss and her husband, Todd Tucker, was going to drug Williams and a mutual friend.
"I repeated it because I heard it," Parks had explained and went on to say that she "shouldn't have repeated it." Following her removal from the series, Parks said she was open to returning if she was asked to.
After RHOA, Parks made a few other reality TV appearances, including some on other Bravo shows like The Real Housewives of Dubai and Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip Ex-Wives Club. Finally, she landed on Married to Medicine for the 10th season of the series.
