Heather Gay reveals the answer to her black eye mystery

If there was one drama that lingered from Season 3 of the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City, it would have to be the mystery of how Heather Gay ended up with a black eye after a night of partying and drinking with her fellow housewives. And yet, now it looks like we finally have an answer.

During the Season 3 reunion of RHOSLC, Gay said that she didn't know what happened and was embarrassed about the entire situation. However, at times during the actual season when it happened, she also seemed to hint at the idea that she did in fact know what went down and how she got a black eye.

In the Season 4 finale, it seems like the gloves are off and now Heather Gay is revealing her truth about what actually happened to her. According to People Magazine, the answer to this black eye mystery is none other than former RHOSLC housewife Jen Shah.

Heather Gay reveals that it was Jen Shah who gave her a black eye

During a scene in which the ladies confronted Monica Garcia, Heather had this to say:

"We are friends, and we have been through this b---s--- before with Jen.
I went on book tour and defended her and took s--- for the fact that she gave me a black eye."

This moment clearly shocked the other ladies at the table. And it really feels as if the idea that Jen Shah had anything to do with Heather Gay's black eye was no longer on the table for them. Or perhaps it was simply the fact that Heather was finally speaking out about the cause of her black eye that led to their shock.

Honestly, it doesn't surprise us to hear Heather saying that Jen was to blame for her black eye in Season 3. However, it does seem interesting that this was how she revealed the news and that it was done when the other woman wasn't there to defend herself.

It should be interesting to see how this reveal reverberates down the line, especially at the upcoming reunion shows and even into Season 5. And of course, we would love to know what the other ladies think of this news.
