Gia Giudice talks about the ‘unsettling’ family drama between her mother and aunt
There is no shortage of drama on The Real Housewives of New Jersey and that drama extends outside of filming too. And now Gia Giudice is opening up about some of that drama.
If there is one thing that fans of RHONJ can count on, it is that the Giudice and Gorga family will be embroiled in some form of drama every season. Most of the time it seems as if that drama has to do with each other.
Considering the tensions between Teresa Giudice and her sister-in-law, Melissa Gorga, it makes sense that the drama would trickle down and have an impact on their children. Considering Gia Giudice is no longer a little girl, and is in fact a college graduate at this point, it makes sense that she would have thoughts on the family drama between her mom and aunt.
According to Reality Tea, while sitting down to chat with Billy Bush for Extra, Gia called the drama between the adults in her family “unsettling.”
Gia Giudice opens up about the family drama that is keeping her mom and aunt apart
One thing that the reality TV star pointed out was that it is important for everyone to think of their mental health, even when it comes to family.
"I can only do so much, and just the whole aspect of just keeping our mental health good and just trying to move forward as a family and really focusing on us."
What does that mean for a future family reunion? Well, it doesn’t seem promising, as it sounds like Gia Giudice agrees with her mom in terms of keeping themselves separate from the Gorga side of the family.
Personally, I want to know if the cousins are still talking to each other or if they have also taken sides. It certainly sounds like even the kids are staying away from each other in order to avoid any drama and that just seems rather sad.
It absolutely makes sense for Teresa and Melissa to stay away from each other, even if that also means the siblings are kept apart. All things considered, it is definitely a toxic situation when the two ladies come together. Hopefully, the cousins are able to find a way to move forward as a family without the drama.
