Kathy Hilton says Morgan Wade and Kyle Richards ‘clicked’

RHOBH‘s Kathy Hilton recently spoke to Extra TV about her sister Kyle Richards‘ budding friendship with country singer Morgan Wade and the story of how she chose to get a tattoo — without telling her children!

While Kyle Richards is split from her long time husband, Mauricio Umansky, fans of RHOBH have been watching her friendship with Morgan Wade unfold. According to Kyle Richards and Morgan Wade, the two of them became friends after Kyle Richards found her on Instgram and sent her a DM to get their friendship going and the rest is reality TV history.

According to Kathy Hilton, this friendship isn’t exactly surprising and she reveals that the two of them have really ‘clicked’ and are ‘enjoying each other.’ Though it may seem like an unlikely pairing for Real Housewives star Kyle Richards, 54, and tattooed country singer Morgan Wade, 29, sister Kathy Hilton reveals that they have a surprising amount in common.

While speaking to Extra TV in a December 1 interview, Kathy Hilton said:

"They are very good friends. And I think that Morgan just had a mastectomy and my mother had breast cancer. Kyle really liked her music and then hearing what she was going through, they clicked. They clicked. And I think that Morgan’s sober and Kyle decided to not drink anymore. So I think they have been a really good influence on each other. And I think they are enjoying each other."

The fact that the two of them have been enjoying each other’s company comes as no surprise to fans of either RHOBH or of Morgan Wade’s music, since the country singer has appeared on the reality series and Kyle Richards showcased her acting chops in the music video for Morgan Wade’s song “Fall In Love With Me.” In the music video, the two of them played up the song’s flirty lyrics and showed off what a strong bond they have with one another.

Despite the flirty acting in Morgan Wade’s music video, Kyle Richards says the two of them are purely platonic. On an episode of Watch What Happens Live, she called Morgan Wade one of her “best, best friends in the world.”

Considering the fact that Morgan Wade got a “K” for Kyle tattooed on her, it’s safe to say she’s not exaggerating that level of friendship.

Kathy Hilton revealed on an episode of Watch What Happens Live with her daughter, Paris Hilton, that she got a tattoo too when she was spending time with recently reunited sister Kyle Richards and her new bestie Morgan Wade.

According to Kathy Hilton, the tattoo decision was because she wanted to bond with her sister following their massive blowout fight and recently rekindled friendship.
