Kyle Richards still plans to spend Christmas with Mauricio Umansky

Despite the fact that the two of them recently announced their separation, Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Kyle Richards says she will “for sure” be spending Christmas with Mauricio Umansky. The pair recently spent Thanksgiving together at their family home, so spending the holidays together amicably with their children isn’t new, but it is a surprise for fans who were wondering where the pair stands in their ongoing marital issues.

When asked about their living situation, Kyle Richards said, “We’re still in the same place. We’re just, you know, living under the same roof.” While attending her sister Kathy Hilton’s star studded Christmas party, she spoke about the fact that despite being separated, things have never been openly rocky between the two of them. According to the RHOBH star, the two of them have never been the type of couple to fight.

“I’m not just saying that. If you ask my kids [they] have never seen a fight between us ever…. We had our close couple of friends there. And, you know, it was sort of just a normal Thanksgiving, actually,” Kyle Richards revealed at the Christmas party.

Even though Mauricio and Kyle have spent holidays together and even went on a vacation after announcing their separation, he says he’s not tuning into the latest season of RHOBH, which features their separation and Kyle’s budding friendship with country singer Morgan Wade.

While speaking to The Skinny Confidential Him & Her Show podcast, he opened up about the fact that he has no intention of seeing how the separation is being handled on TV. “There’s a bunch of stuff that I don’t really want to see because it will just create more noise for me and more opinions,” he told the podcast hosts on choosing no to watch this season.

On the same podcast, Mauricio Umansky made it very clear that the two of them are still trying to work their marriage out and are not calling it quits yet. Similarly, Kyle Richards spoke up about labeling their split at BravoCon 2023 when she said, “Two times, I had to correct someone when they said ‘divorce,’ I said, ‘separated.'”

Considering the fact that the two of them have continued spending so much time together, it definitely seems like they’re doing their best to make their marriage work. Hopefully, the new year sees the pair calling off their separation and announcing that they’ve solved the bumps in their marriage.
