Taylor Armstrong joined the RHOC cast as a friend of the housewives during the 17th season of the series. According to a November 29 post from Armstrong, she won’t be returning to the show for season 18 of the series.
Prior to appearing as a friend on RHOC, Taylor Armstrong appeared as one of the founding cast members of RHOBH as a main cast member in seasons one to three and a guest on four through six before leaving that series. Armstrong’s jump from her original series over to Orange County made her the first cast member from the franchise to make the jump from one series to another.
“I’ve made some real friendships that I cherish. Wishing the ladies all the best for season 18,” Taylor Armstrong captioned her Instagram post confirming that she wouldn’t be returning. Season 17 of the series aired from July to October 2023, so her statement confirming her exit came just over a month after the season finale.
During her time on season 17 of RHOC, Taylor Armstrong had some major drama with fellow cast member Heath Dubrow, but the two of them were able to repair their relationship by the end of the season, so she’s not leaving any loose ends and open storylines with her departure.
According to People, Taylor Armstrong is the only RHOC cast member that won’t be returning for season 18 and the season is set to start filming again in January 2024.
At BravoCon, the RHOBH founding cast member said that Beverly Hills will always be her home, but that she was enjoying her time in Orange County. Although she’s done with the series for now, the fact that Taylor Armstrong has returned to Bravo after leaving in the past means that there’s a chance fans will see her on their TV screens again in the future. Maybe she’ll make the jump to yet another different series in the franchise?
Only time will tell!
