Love is Blind stars Bliss and Zack Poureetzadi are expecting

It’s always an exciting time when a reality TV couple ties the knot or announces that they’re expanding their family. Across five seasons of Netflix’s creative hit series Love is Blind, a total of eight couples that found their happily ever after have stayed married following their time on the show. Even though the show first started airing and matching up couples in 2020, it took until November 2023 before any of these couples announced that they were expecting.

Bliss and Zack’s complicated love story

The couple appeared on the fourth season of the Netflix series and although they may be building a happy family together now, it wasn’t always sunshine and rainbows for the pair. On the show, Zack felt sparks fly with both Bliss and fellow castmate Irina Solomonova, leaving Zack in the middle of a fierce rivalry as the two women vented to Zack about one another and fought for his heart. In the end, Zack proposed to Irina and Bliss went home broken-hearted and empty-handed.

Even though they had a connection that lead Zack to propose sight unseen from their separate pods, things fizzled out when they went on a romantic getaway together and Irina just didn’t see a future with the attorney, so the two of them called off their engagement and went home alone.

Did Love is Blind lead to “Eternal Bliss”?

After reuniting, Bliss and Zack were able to meet each other’s families and in April 2023, they made it official by getting married. Since the two were reunited following Zack’s failed whirlwind proposal, he and Bliss have been sharing the cutest moments from their relationship. Referencing an episode of the Netflix series titled “Eternal Bliss?”, Zack shared a screenshot from the show and captioned it “Eternal Bliss” with no question mark, leaving no question in the mind of viewers where he stands on their future.

Now, they’ve become the first Love is Blind couple to announce that they have a baby on the way!

The pair told People the baby is expected to be born in the spring of 2024. In a statement from the pair, they about their plans for their future family with Bliss saying, “I think we both eventually want a boy and a girl — that’d be wonderful to have both.”

Would Bliss and Zack support their future children if they wanted to go on a reality show like Love is Blind? Zack gave the most supportive answer when he said:

"I would actually encourage them if they wanted to do that, to do it. And I think the reason is because you just never know what’s going to happen and I would encourage my child to not play it safe. To go and do the things that scare you because life is short. We only have so much time on this earth, so go after your dreams."

Considering how well it worked out for Bliss and Zack, it’s not hard to see why he’d be all-in for his child following in his footsteps to find love on TV.
