RHOSLC’s Monica Garcia reveals that Jen Shah told her about her “scheme”

If you are a fan of the Real Housewives franchise, and in particular the ladies of Salt Lake City, you may know who both Jen Shah and Monica Garcia are. We all know that Shah was incarcerated for a “telemarketing fraud scheme,” and this left a spot open on the series that was filled by her former assistant, Garcia.

While it may have come as a bit of a surprise for Monica Garcia to take Jen Shah’s spot on RHOSLC, it has actually been interesting in its own way. After all, it seems that Garcia reached out to a friend of hers with the secret service to reveal what Shah was doing, which likely helped to get the ball rolling with the feds and their apparent case against the former housewife.

During a recent Watch What Happens Live, Andy Cohen took the time to ask all sorts of questions about Garcia’s time as Shah’s assistant. And in particular, he wanted to know how she found out about Jen Shah’s illegal activities.

How did Monica Garcia learn about what Jen Shah was doing?

According to Monica Garcia, Jen Shah told her exactly what she was doing. And when Andy asked her exactly how she was told, Garcia reiterated that,

"She told me how her scheme works. And she asked me to be a part of it."

The newest addition to RHOSLC said that she turned the other woman down and then she reached out to a friend of hers who is with the secret service. Apparently the two women never really spoke again, in particular about Monica Garcia speaking to the feds, because by that point Garcia was a witness against Shah.

According to Reality Tea, since Jen Shah didn’t have a trial, it seems that the two women have also not seen each other since then either. While this is not that surprising, it is interesting to see Garcia taking Shah’s spot as a Real Housewife.
