Catherine, the Duchess of Cambridge – aka Kate Middleton – is known around the world as a woman of fashion. There’s not a day or event where the impeccably dressed mom of three doesn’t bring her fashion A-game. Prince William’s wife always looks effortlessly put together, from bespoke tailoring, to laid-back denim, designer dresses, and country chic, she pulls off every look, so it’s frankly no surprise she’s Britain’s “Style Queen”!
Though there are many fashion choices that caught our eye, we’ve managed to narrow it down to the ultimate 10 stylish moments to date, kicking it off with her iconic Alexander McQueen wedding dress.

On April 29, 2011, the world watched Kate Middleton walk down the aisle and say “I do” to her very own Prince Charming, Prince William, heir to the British throne, in a breathtaking custom made dress designed by Sarah Burton, creative director of the luxury British fashion house Alexander McQueen.
Kate Middleton is as pretty as a princess
In this section, we take a look at some of the most stylish princess looks from the Duchess of Cambridge. As a leading royal lady, she’s, reportedly, often taken inspiration from Disney Princesses, and if her outings are anything to go by, Kate Middleton can switch things up and wear head to toe glamour fit for a Queen.
In January 2020, Kate Middleton was the bell of the ball in a glitzy crimson ensemble to mark the UK-Africa Investment Summit at Buckingham Palace. She wore a hand-stitched sequin-covered dress by Needle & Thread.
Kate Middleton is a favorite of fashion designer Jenny Packham and has opted on several occasions to go for a stylish piece from her line when stepping out for ultra-glamorous events. One particular frock that the Duchess of Cambridge seems to favor is the timeless blush pink dress, embellished in silver thread and sequins. Kate has worn this dress on several occasions, the first time being all the way back in 2011!
In 2017, while on an official visit to Paris, France, with her husband Prince William, the 39-year-old mom of three glistened as she arrived at the British Embassy in Paris, in another Jenny Packham dress, this time in an icy eggshell blue. Similarly to other pretty princess looks, Kate Middleton opted for a frock with eye-catching detail.

From tiaras and ball gowns to wellies and jeans! The Duchess of Cambridge nails each fashion outing, no matter the occasion! In this section, we take a look at some of Kate Middleton’s stylish casual-chic outfits.
While out in the countryside in England in April, the Duchess of Cambridge looked fabulous in a casual country outfit. Kate Middleton wore a Scandi-inspired lambswool knitted jumper from TROY London, designed by British designer Rosie van Cutsem, a pair of dark denim jeans, her favorite Hunter waterproof jacket and a pair of soft leather knee-high boots.
During the “Urban Nature Project” at The Natural History Museum on June 22, 2021 in London, Kate Middleton opted for a pair of straight-legged, relaxed blue denim jeans, a simple white t-shirt and a coral colored blazer. Of course, the Duchess of Cambridge looked stunning as ever, and even impressed the kids on her visit, though mind you, she did sweeten them up a bit with her new hobby.
In 2016, Kate Middleton took a trip with Prince William to Bhutan. The Duchess of Cambridge showed off her explorer side opting for a deep green vest from Really Wild, a linen white blouse, khaki skinny jeans and brown soft-leather riding boots.

Kate Middleton often favors stylish pieces that are tailored to her petite frame. These three looks would have to be our favorite as they perfectly demonstrate the vast transformations the Duchess can take in her style.
While visiting Scotland in May, Kate Middleton opted for stylish and dead on-trend Kate chose an all-camel monochromatic outfit. The Duchess of Cambridge, or the Countess of Strathearn as she’s known in Scotland, paired a double-breasted Massimo Dutti coat with tan-colored wide-leg trousers, a scoop-neck tan sweater, and a matching brown belt, pumps, and clutch.
In September 2020, Kate Middleton ushered in fall with a gorgeous calf-length red floral shirtdress, that had been taken in at the waist to accommodate the Duchess of Cambridge’s delicate frame, with balloon sleeves tapered at her forearms and a pair of brown pump heels. While visiting communities hit hard by the coronavirus pandemic in London she didn’t feel the need for many accessories, she donned a blush pink floral mask and held a simple clutch bag in one hand.
Another snap from her Scotland trip! While hosting a charity drive-in cinema screening, the Duchess of Cambridge sported a spectacular royal blue, forest green and deep purple tartan coat by Holland and Cooper adorned with striking gold buttons and donned a pair of deep emerald heels by Manolo Blahnik. The fabulous coat, which felt just short of the mom of three’s ankles, was perfectly tailored to Kate Middleton’s frame to give off an elegant and sophisticated feel to the look.
