Sydney Sweeney sparks engagement rumors: Who is Jonathan Davino?

Rumor has it Euphoria star Sydney Sweeney is engaged to her long-time boyfriend, Jonathan Davino. The rumors came after paps photographed Sydney out and about with a rather large rock on her ring finger.

Many are now, understandably, suspecting that the celebrity may be off the market for good. However, there are those who believe the ring is nothing more than an accessory the new red-headed Sydney decided to wear. So what’s the truth? We tell you everything we know so far below.

Is Sydney Sweeney engaged to Jonathan Davino?

Though neither Sydney nor Jonathan has yet to confirm (or deny) whether they are engaged to be married, multiple sources firmly believe the happy couple is heading, in fact, heading down the wedding aisle soon. Page Six reports they are engaged.

To many, the ring is far too beautiful to just be a regular ring. In some ways, we agree. However, we did a little digging on Sydney’s Instagram to get a little more insight.

Based on what we’ve seen so far, the celeb’s account is void of any recent picture where a ring can be seen on her ring finger, but there are many pictures where the alleged engagement ring does make an appearance on her other fingers. See one of the many photos below.

In this picture, a piece can be seen on Sydney’s pinky finger, and in another photo, the same ring is shown to be on her index finger.

With both of these pictures in mind, we can assume the jeweled piece–that, if not the ring, is very similar to the one in discussion–is important to her in some regard. Even still, it is not known if it’s in the way sources are believing it to be.

Who is Jonathan Davino?

E! News reports that Jonathan Davino is a 37-year-old restaurateur known for his restaurant Pompei in Chicago, Illinois.

Jonathan is fairly private and, at this time, doesn’t appear to be on Instagram, so fans know next to nothing about this lucky man. However, what they do know is that he met Sydney sometime in 2018 and has been smitten by her ever since, so much so, he couldn’t keep his hands to himself during their couple vacay to Hawaii in 2020.

Perhaps we’ll know more about Jonathan Davino once and if he gets married to the Euphoria star. Until then, we’ll keep our eyes locked on Sydney Sweeney’s Instagram, waiting for that special announcement post.
