In the sophomore season of HBO’s Euphoria, Cassie (Sydney Sweeney) and Nate (Jacob Elordi) have become attached at the hip despite being totally wrong for each other. Though they seem to be a couple destined for ruin, fans can’t deny that the two have major chemistry on-screen… and maybe even off-screen.

Who are Jacob Elordi and Sydney Sweeney dating?

Sydney Sweeney has been dating Jonathan Davino since 2018 and the two have been going pretty strong since then. And as for Jacob Elordi, well, it’s safe to say he’s done with dating any more Euphoria star as, after his brief relationship with Zendaya, he’s moved on to YouTuber Olivia Jade.

Though there seemingly isn’t an ounce of romance between the two in real life, we’ve got to admit, the way Jacob (platonically) talks about working alongside Sydney is super cute!

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Jacob discussed how much fun he had filming with Sydney in Euphoria season 2:

"We had nothing to do with each other in the first season, and so I never really ever worked with her, but I mean creatively this season, we became a bit of a Bonnie and Clyde. Every time I was in, I was in with her, and vice versa. And she’s so, so good at what she does that it was just such a treat the entire time working with her. She brings it every single take, every single scene. And they’re always intense scenes with her as well, but we had so much fun. We got to play all kinds of different dynamics from that first meeting, and so it was such a treat working with her."

Naturally, we’re glad these two get along in real life, especially considering the many rumors regarding the cast of Euphoria not seeing eye-to-eye while filming the current season.

Rumor has it that their co-star Barbie Ferreira got into it a few times with Euphoria creator Sam Levinson. At one point, there were allegations that alluded to Jacob and his co-star Hunter Schafer having beef, too.

Though none of these rumors have been confirmed, fans’ eyebrows are certainly raised, waiting for the day when one of these celebrities come forward with a statement clearing up the drama. However, it’s safe to say Jacob and Sydney don’t have drama.

As Euphoria season 2 comes to an end this Sunday, Feb. 27, we’re bound to see more moments between Jacob Elordi and Sydney Sweeney, but just be sure to remember, the actors are just friends in real life and nothing more.
