Savannah Chrisley is now in the best shape of her life, but the reality star was once making headlines for talking weight gain. The 24-year-old has been vocal about undergoing surgery for painful uterine condition endometriosis – 2020 marked the blonde going under the knife to spearhead her healing journey, but prior to that, it was meds causing a 40-pound weight gain.

Savannah Chrisley Opened Up On Weight Gain

Savannah opened up shortly before her surgery, posting to Instagram and with a workout snap. The SASSY by Savannah cosmetics founder told her followers:

“Fun fact: This photo was taken when I had an IUD and was on a medication at the highest dosage for 6 months…And gained 30-40 LBS… #ENDOSUCKS.” Also suffering from endometriosis and having undergone surgery for it is model Olivia Culpo.

In fact, Savanah made the whole medical journey public. Ahead of her surgery, she held up an envelope on social media while posing from her car and writing: “VULNERABLE MOMENT FOR MY LADIES: I haven’t talked about this much because honestly…I have struggled BIG TIME. I’m insanely self-conscious and just feel like my body has given up on me. I was diagnosed with Endometriosis when I was 18 and it’s been quite the struggle.”

Savannah Chrisley Has Struggled With Body Confidence

Long before it was endo talk, it was weight loss talk for Savannah. The daughter to real estate mogul Todd Chrisley made 2019 headlines for fronting South Beach Diet, also telling Us Weekly:

“I’ve struggled with my body confidence. Being on TV since I was 15, you have all these people on the outside giving you their opinions on what they think you look like or you need to eat or you don’t need to eat and it truly wears on you.”

Reminding fans that confidence is best, the Southern Belle added: “It’s hard, but if you feel good about yourself, then no one else’s opinion matters. My dad’s always told me, ‘it’s none of your business what someone else thinks of you.’ So that’s how I look at it.”

Last year, Savannah shut down suggestions she’d had cosmetic surgery, claiming she’d both gained weight and been working out.
