Courtney Stodden was all ready for Thanksgiving this week, but the reality star and singer made it clear they won’t be eating meat. Courtney, this year making headlines for revealing they are non-binary, is fresh from an Instagram post shouting out Turkey Day, but with the 27-year-old handling a live bird and making it #vegan, it’ll be potatoes and meat-free gravy minus the turkey on their plate.

Stodden posted to social media on Monday night and going scantily clad in a plunging bra and jeans. Fans threw the star over 6,000 likes overnight – see why below.

Courtney Stodden Eyes Meat-Free Thanksgiving

Scroll for the photos. They come after Courtney made the news over multiple points this year – from teasing a tell-all book over their teen marriage to actor Doug Hutchison to bullying beef with cookbook queen and model Chrissy Teigen.

Looking gorgeous with fluffy, Marilyn Monroe-style hair and posing outdoors on grass, Courtney was shot affectionately petting a live turkey. The “Bully” singer was rocking ripped jeans in a low-cut and flesh-colored bra adorned with glitter detailing. Stodden, who has been celebrating real bodies, smiled as they enjoyed the bird moment – the gallery, meanwhile, came with a caption explaining a little more.

Addressing fans, Stodden opened:

“This will be my 12th veg Thanksgiving (and counting) without eating turkey🦃❤️.”

“Up until 16, I ate turkey- no chicken, no fish, never in my life had I tried beef … just turkey. I believe it was because of Thanksgiving and how much I looked forward to the tradition,” they added,” continuing that back in 2011, “it hit me.” Swipe for the gallery below, scroll for more.

"“Watching this turkey being prepared (bones everywhere) the sink filled with death… there was the truth. This life was taken and put on the chopping block for a quick and selfish satisfaction.”"

Courtney joins the long list of celebrities going vegan, from pop sweetheart Ariana Grande and actress Alicia Silverstone to model Pamela Anderson and talk show queen Ellen DeGeneres.

Telling fans that “change” begins “with you,” Stodden further stated: “Spending time with turkeys that are ALIVE is so much more fulfilling. They are incredibly intelligent and appreciate eye contact.”

Stodden had made 2017 headlines for joining forces with PETA. This year, the star hit up Washington, D.C. for a PETA rally. They will hold an annual veggie hot dog giveaway to help encourage the general public to opt out of meat.
