Christina Aguilera lifting up her shirt while in thigh-highs and in a top with cartoon breasts on it has sparked complaints. The 40-year-old Grammy winner faced hate from her own Instagram followers in a rare spat of backlash ahead of the weekend, this as photos of the blonde’s Ladylandfestival appearance wound up getting the thumbs-down.

Xtina, whose jaw-dropping body matched her vocals on stage, made headlines for a show-stopping and second skin-effect bodysuit affording a fake undies finish, but fans were peering closer as they shaded the “Stripped” hit-maker.

Christina Aguilera Raises Eyebrows With Statement Photos

Scroll for the snaps. Aguilera, who has been making headlines for channeling a 2002 vibe with her topless hair bra and jeans photo, had arguably gone more extra, here. The blonde bombshell had been photographed backstage and flaunting her sensational curves in a skin-tight and flesh-colored bodysuit, one coming with a thong undies finish, plus sexy thigh-highs boots.

Also wearing a loud yellow sweater top with gothic sleeve writing and fun, feminine-strong cartoon breasts drawn on, the star was seen blowing a kiss as she raised her shirt – subsequent photos showed Xtina on stage and enjoying downtime after the show.

Not Getting Much Love Back

Christina’s followers have been quick to comment, and it looks like many are thinking the photo has been subject to a little editing. Over 900 users liked a comment reading: “Why her legs don’t look real,” although many seemed to have missed the bodysuit situation.

“Cause the photo was heavily touch by an amateur,” one fan replied. Also racking up likes was a remark bluntly telling Aguilera: “Too much Photoshop.” A third, meanwhile, called it a “nice Photoshopping job.” Not everyone was out to get the star, though. One user jumped in trying to break the look down as they wrote:

“Yes a very pixelated bodysuit and the only thing with aliased edges in the entire photo, you’re right champion 👌.”

“Paint, not even photoshop. You can see the pixels from the brush tool,” a further individual stated.

Opening Up On Raw Beauty

2018 marked Aguilera ditching her trademark heavy makeup for stunning and unrecognizable photos showing her freckles. The Paper feature came complete with the star opening up on natural beauty and her attitudes towards her statement stage looks.

“I’ve always been someone that obviously loves to experiment, loves theatrics, loves to create a storyline and play a character in a video or through stage,” she said. “I’m a performer, that’s who I am by nature. But I’m at the place, even musically, where it’s a liberating feeling to be able to strip it all back and appreciate who you are and your raw beauty.”
