Maria Menounos is filling Instagram with kindness, this as she continues to mourn the loss of mom Litsa. The 43-year-old media personality made summer 2021 headlines as her mother tragically passed from both brain cancer and COVID, although Maria has not made her grieving process solely about loss.

The former E! News face, who has been documenting life without her mother both on her Instagram and her “Better With Maria” podcast, is fresh from an ab-flashing update bringing joy – Maria also reminded her followers to be “nice to yourself.”

Scroll for the snaps. They showed the star all smiles and posing on an outdoor path and by greenery. Menounos, wearing low-slung and pale green sweatpants, highlighted her cheese-grater abs in a matching crop top, with a loose denim jacket chopping up the apple-green hues.

Grinning and looking mega tan after bikini snaps shouting out the end of summer, Maria told fans:

“Morning!! ☀️ friendly reminder to be kind to yourself and others today. You never know what someone is going through in life…and as for you-you know what’s going on-so be nice to yourself!”

Reminding fans that challenges are a part of everyday life, the star continued: “We all have challenges we are faced with everyday. It’s counterproductive to add to it by beating yourself up. So give yourself some compassion and some ❤️! Drop a line below if you agree😊.”

Posts from the Dunkin’ Donuts face rarely go without a gush-fest in the comments section. Fans left Maria over 6,000 likes, with users seemingly taken by the caption. “100% correct,” one fan replied, saying that it was “always a great reminder.” “Preach it!” another wrote.

Maria, who has since updated to joke about “hidden shorts” as she flaunted a “transitional” look to fall, made her post after a head-in-the-clouds selfie as she reflected on the end of summer. The mental health warrior told her followers:

“As we enter this new season, and the hustle hits, please don’t forget about your health. It’s so easy to get caught up in work, family needs and all of the demands on you.” She slammed the “disregard” people wind up having for their health, calling the moment a “reminder” for fans to go check up on their health. Maria has, herself, penned a book on her own journey to health, this as she dropped 40 pounds back in 2014.
