Britney Spears all ‘Tinkerbell’ in gravity-defying shorts

Britney Spears is twirling around in zero-gravity shorts while highlighting her “Tinkerbell” side. The 39-year-old singer, now legendary with her Instagram-posted home dance sessions, was back to working her famous body in a recent share, posting for her 33 million followers and delivering a bit of a whimsical caption.

Britney had, in 2020, revealed “Frozen” to be her favorite Disney movie, but she was eyeing up another one here as she joked she’d been cast as Tinkerbell in upcoming movie “Peter Pan.”

Britney, who has fronted media outlets this summer as she attempts to free herself from her 2008-commenced conservatorship – and dad Jamie Spears will be stepping down as her conservator – embraced her free-spirited side in the video. Footage showed the “Toxic” singer spinning around, busting out moves, and 100% enjoying herself while in a tiny black shorts and a skimpy red bralette.

Britney’s dance, a barefoot one, topped 4 million views within a few days. The caption, meanwhile, confirmed the video to be an April-dated throwback.

“I’m spinning yet again 💃🏼💃🏼💃🏼 … why ????? BECAUSE I CAN … and I will be for a very long time !!!! I’m playing the lead in the new Tinker Bell 🔔 movie … since Tim Burton is directing it, he’s coming over today to have tea,” Britney told fans.

The Grammy winner, who confirmed she was “just kidding,” then addressed her recent posting sprees. Despite vowing to post less on Instagram, the blonde has kept up her regular updates. She added:

“Explaining myself as to why I’m the queen of posting would get exhausting so I’ll just be honest and say … it’s because I like to SHARE !!!! Sharing is caring ….. and lots of times that can be daring !!!”

This wouldn’t be the first explanation from Spears, who recently defended her topless posting spree by saying that removing her clothes makes her feel like she did as a “baby.” Teasing her followers, the mom of two continued: ” I mean do I dare post again today ???? DO I REALLY CARE what people think 🤷🏼‍♀️🤷🏼‍♀️🤷🏼‍♀️ ??!!”

Britney has also been busy featuring the man in her life, 27-year-old boyfriend Sam Asghari. Gushing over him in a recent post, the star pushed for the personal trainer’s budding acting career, even saying he should be cast in mega movie franchise “Fast & Furious.” She joking called the Iranian hunk “this -sshole,” also reminding fans that he happens to be a super-mean cook.
