The 38-year-old country superstar and CALIA by Carrie founder has featured in a new video shared to her Fit52 app – the workout app launched last year accompanies Carrie’s “Find Your Path” diet and exercise book that topped pandemic sales charts in 2020.

Scroll for the video. Carrie, who revealed she starved herself on just 800 calories a day following a her 2005 “American Idol” win, was showing that she’s the picture of health since her brief starvation period – online message board trolls had written “Carrie’s getting fat” back in the day, destroying the blonde’s self-esteem.

Filmed indoors and standing with her legs apart while on a mat, Carrie was seen performing Bodyweight Lateral Raises. The footage showed the “Southbound” singer in cropped and tight black leggings and a matching gym tank, also wearing dark sneakers with white soles.

Carrie, standing square, was seen raising and lowering her already-sculpted arms, also keeping her body weight neutral. A “HOW TO DO” accompanied the video as it offered fans a step-by-step guide to the exercise.

Fit52, now available on both Apple and Android, took to its caption, writing:

"“Strengthen your shoulders with Bodyweight Lateral Raises, no equipment necessary! Simple, effective, and guaranteed to create the burn. Plus, this beginner-friendly bodyweight movement is our most-favorited move in the app!”"

The “fit52fam” hashtag, among many others, was also used, with the video quickly gaining likes. Carrie appears from time to time on Fit52’s Instagram, with the app now also including former NHL player husband Mike Fisher as the 2010-couple proves sweating together means staying together.

Carrie’s app offers a 14-day free trial period, after which the fee is $7.99 a month – fans think it’s totally worth it. Shortly before the app’s launch, Carrie revealed how much fitness means to her. Speaking in a statement, the mom of two said:

“Fitness is a true passion for me. The fit52 app incorporates what I’ve been doing myself for years, and we’ve made it easy and totally accessible for anyone that wants help to work in working out.”

“We worked really hard to create a high-quality, user-friendly app that is designed for busy people and their busy lives. fit52 meets you wherever you are on your health journey, and I’m so proud of it,” she added.
