Lisa Rinna faces backlash for ‘high school’ swim show-off

Lisa Rinna is not having an easy time with the comments as her everyone-in-a-row bathing suit photo gains comments. The 57-year-old Bravo face, fresh from sharing a fully nude throwback, was this week back with some fellow The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills faces, posting to her Instagram and with a 1981 focus as she celebrated Teddi Mellencamp’s 40th birthday. TEDDI 1981 was all over the swimsuits being donned, with Lisa pointing out 1981 was the year she graduated high school.

See the photo below. The former Melrose Place actress had shared a massive and poolside group shot with over ten people all wearing identical black swimsuits with TEDDI 1981 all over the front in white writing.

Lisa was spotted on the far left as she struck a leggy pose and while under a big straw hat. Similar poses had been struck by co-stars including Kyle Richards and Dorit Kemsley, plus a fair amount of husbands, with the tropical setting proving eye-catching as former RHOBH star Teddi marked the big FOUR-OH.

Taking to her caption, Lisa wrote: “TEDDI 1981 happens to be the year I graduated from high school. 😂.”

The photo, also shared to fitness guru Teddi’s Instagram, has brought in a very mixed response. Lisa, who sparked weight comments earlier this year as she modeled a green bikini from 36-year-old reality star Khloe Kardashian’s Good American brand, had the issue of shape once again mentioned.

“Cool glad to see we are still supporting this……. Ethically questionable girl boss promoting eating disorders!!” one fan wrote, gaining likes.

Others, meanwhile, lashed out with plastic surgery allegations. “Implants everywhere” was one user’s take, with a fan agreeing as they wrote: “Plastic.” Fans had singled out one of the ladies in the group – “That right there is SURGERY gone wrong,” a user remarked, calling it “Sad AF.”

The post wasn’t all negative, though. A popular reply saw a fan ask how “everybody in this picture is just perfect?” It also went down a treat on the celebrity likes front – alongside co-star Kathy Hilton’s like, the thumbs-up was left by 50-year-old TV host Kelly Ripa, actress January Jones, former Vanderpump Rules star Stassi Schroeder, plus queen bee and Keeping Up With The Kardashians “momager” Kris Jenner.
