RHOC star Kelly Dodd calls Tom Girardi a ‘crook’ on social media

Real Housewives of Orange County star Kelly Dodd is letting her feelings be known, as usual. Kelly recently slammed Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Erika Jayne’s husband Thomas Girardi on social media with a dig aimed at Tom in response to a comment left by a fan.

A few days ago, Kelly shared a photograph with her husband Rick Levanthal and her attorney, Arthur Aidala. In the caption, Kelly mentioned that it was nice to have a “high powered attorney on your side.”

In the comments section, a fan snarked that Erika probably thought it was nice to have a high-powered attorney on her side, too, but we all know how that turned out. They went on to say that these ladies should go out and become an attorney themselves instead of relying on a man.

Well, Kelly couldn’t resist firing back at the commenter, writing that at least her attorney isn’t a “crook.” Talk about throwing shade!

Why did Kelly Dodd call Tom Girardi a crook?

For those who missed the headlines, Kelly was alluding to the fact that Erika’s husband, who she recently filed for divorce from, has been accused of embezzling millions of dollars from the Lion Air plane crash.

One of the biggest topics of debate in the RHOBH fandom and among Bravo fans at large is whether or not Erika was involved in the scandal, most people believe she was, especially since her divorce papers were filed just weeks before the accusations went public.

Since everything happened, Tom has had several other lawsuits filed against him claiming he’s stolen millions of dollars from his own clients in the past. On top of everything else, Tom was also diagnosed with Alzheimer’s and reportedly living under a court-ordered conservatorship with his younger brother right now.

Despite Kelly’s shady comment, it doesn’t really seem like she was taking aim at Erika since I doubt Erika would be offended by Kelly’s remark toward her soon-to-be ex-husband.

RHOC is currently on an indefinite hiatus, while new episodes of RHOBH Season 11 are airing Wednesday nights on Bravo.
