Does the glossy season eleven trailer of RHOBH hide the same tired storylines?

Does the the cinematic RHOBH Season 11 hide stale storylines from past seasons?
When the trailer of the highly anticipated eleventh season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills dropped, the Bravo-watching world went wild with anticipation and excitement. Most people gave the trailer 10 out of 10, saying this season will be the best yet—a similar comment from past season trailers. After sitting with the trailer, we might be in for the same stale and played-out storylines from past seasons.
The past few seasons have started out with blockbuster trailers teasing a season of drama and truth-telling. We saw the season nine trailer teasing the truth about Lisa Vanderpump and her relationship with the tabloids. We watched the season ten trailer, eager to find out the truth about the affair between Denise Richards and Brandi Glanville.
RHOBH Season 11: Erika legal troubles and intense newbie drama
This season is no different, with all of us wanting to find out the truth of what Erika Jayne knows about her estranged husband’s dark legal demise. Halfway through past seasons, we find a different version of the truth with clever editing and acting with blatant behind-the-scenes producer and self-producing housewife plotline manipulation. With the past few seasons, the drama promised spins out after the first few episodes. Will this happen in this upcoming season?
This trailer also teases intense drama between Erika Jayne and newbie Crystal Kung Minkoff with fan-favorite Sutton Stracke. While this seems compelling in the trailer, it feels like something that we have seen before and a common occurrence on RHOBH in past seasons. A whole cast gang up on one housewife. We have seen this with Lisa Vanderpump in season nine and with Denise Richards in season ten. Is this going to happen with Sutton this season?
All is not recycled and worn-out. With the departure of Denise Richards and Teddi Mellencamp, we have a new friend-of and sister to Kyle Richards, Kathy Hilton, doing rehab on her image after looking less than majestic in her daughter Paris Hilton’s documentary, This is Paris. The rocky sibling relationships of the Richards sisters always drove the most compelling drama on RHOBH in early seasons and will be something to watch this season.
RHOBH Season 11 premieres on Wednesday, May 19th at 8 pm EST.
