Vanderpump Rules: Lala Kent wrote a book about her favorite subject!
By Amanda Cline
While Vanderpump Rules sits on the shelf, Lala Kent has been busy making babies! Not only is she pregnant with her first child with Randall Emmett, but she was also apparently working on another baby – her book! And her favorite subject, you might ask? Herself. The book, titled Give Them Lala is available through publisher Simon & Schuster for pre-order now and will be released on May 4, 2021.
The description of the book notes that this is a collection of “humorous and brutally honest essays” about fame, getting sober, and everything in between. She also clarified what the title of the book Give Them Lala actually means. Which means, apparently, being honest and authentic about who you truly are.
“Hollywood is where Lauren Burningham, aspiring actress from Utah, fully embraced her alter-ego Lala Kent, Vanderpump Rules’s resident troublemaker,” the description explained. It also promised to break down the journey from Lauren to Lala. Riveting!
From the rest of the description, the book just sounds like a long paragraph about why Lala Kent is great. However, one of the more interesting parts of Lala’s story is definitely her getting sober in the wild world of reality television. The book can be pre-ordered from a variety of retailers like Amazon for a steep $27, but Barnes & Noble has a signed copy for $27 if you are into that.

As we progress into 2021, the stars of the show seem to continue on a very different path. Stassi Schroeder and Beau Clark welcomed their first child this month, while Brittany Cartwright and Scheana Shay aren’t far behind her. Lala, Scheana, AND Brittany are all due in April, which means we will have four Vanderpump Rules children by summertime.
In other news, Jax Taylor and Brittany might be heading to Kentucky, while Katie Maloney is offering criticism about The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City’s Lisa Barlow for an unknown reason. Most restaurants in California are still closed, though the stay-at-home order was recently lifted. Who knows what is next for the show at this point.
