Lala Kent confirms that the Vanderpump Rules couples did have a pact to become pregnant around the same time so their kids could all be friends.

According to Entertainment Tonight, Lala Kent, Stassi Schroeder, Katie Maloney-Schwartz, and Brittany Cartwright of Vanderpump Rules all made an agreement to get pregnant around the same time so their kids could grow up together.  This was apparently thought up and agreed upon during Jax Taylor and Brittany’s engagement trip to Mexico.

When Stassi called Lala and Randall Emmett to tell her the news, Lala said that sent her into baby-making mode.  Prior to the pandemic, the couples all planned to get married before having babies, but that obviously did not happen for Lala and Stassi.  “I have always been hell-bent on having my children grow up the way that I did, which was very much, like, my mom was friends with all my friends’ parents,” Lala told ET.

Randall commented that the pair had gotten into a fight about groceries where Lala archived all the photos of the pair on social media.  A week later, they found out they were pregnant.  This was all within 16 days of receiving Stassi’s news.  Katie is still working on having a baby with Tom Schwartz, but Randall says it will happen by the end of the year.

When Stassi was on the Tamron Hall show, she was asked if she would return to the show if given the option.  Stassi said no, she wouldn’t be able to combine the show with being a new mom – which is a sentiment Lala seems to share.  “I’m going to be a mother. … I have my own child looking up to me, so it would have to be the right situation.”

Lala noted that she and everyone else are still waiting for official news from the production company about next season.  After the firing of Stassi and Kristen Doute, the show will be forever different either way.  It doesn’t make much sense for a bunch of women to come back onto such a show when their lives have changed so much from the start, it would be a different show.  And perhaps it should be.  Vanderpump Rules had a great run, but perhaps it should retire while that’s the thing to do.

For now, Lala is enjoying her time being pregnant.  “I didn’t think I could be so in love with something that I’ve never met before,” she said.  May as well enjoy the journey!
