Vanderpump Rules: Katie Maloney throws shade at RHOSLC’s Lisa Barlow

The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City is an absolute success, so much that the show has been given the green light for a second season! As fans got to know our newest housewives more and more, it has become clear that these ladies were a casting blessing to the franchise.  Lisa Barlow, who owns her own marketing agency and tequila line with her hubby, John Barlow, revealed during the season’s start that she was the “go-to” person when it came to the Sundance Film Festival. Lisa claims that if you want to get into a party during Park City’s major event, she is the person to know!

As we learn more about Jen Shah and her marriage, Heather’s past, and Mary’s many many homes, viewers have also gotten to see more of Lisa Barlow and her powerhouse work ethic that has ultimately landed her as the “Queen of Sundance.”

While most fans have no intel regarding the ins and outs of Sundance, most were led to believe this was true, however, Vanderpump Rules star, Katie Maloney, is singing a different tune!

Maloney, who was born and raised in Park City, Utah, prior to her move over to Los Angeles, says that she has never heard of Lisa Barlow before. In an Instagram Story, Katie wrote how “I’ve been to a lot of parties [during Sundance] and I’ve never heard this woman’s name. There are people’s names that I know to use and she’s definitely not one of them. Just saying,” she finished.

RHOSLC’s Lisa Barlow is the self-proclaimed Queen of Sundance, however, it seems as if Vanderpump Rules star, Katie Maloney thinks otherwise!

Katie went on to throw some additional shade by saying “A Real Housewive exaggerating her life story with an inflated sense of importance? I’ve never seen that before,” Katie wrote on Instagram. While Katie may have a list of names as “go-to” Sundance sources, perhaps Lisa is simply not one of them.

Despite the confusion, fellow RHOSLC cast member, Jen Shah also admitted that Lisa Barlow is, in fact, the Queen of Sundance. During the first episode, Jen said she too has to “kiss the ring” in order to get into the best parties.

While Katie Maloney makes a great argument and threw some decent quality shade, viewers have yet to find a reason not to believe Lisa on this one!
