RHOC: Arguing with Kelly Dodd is like a cow’s opinion…It’s moo
By Amanda Cline
RHOC’s Kelly Dodd spends a lot of time apologizing for her idiotic behavior only to turn around and do it again the next day, but will she ever learn?
Not that long ago, Kelly Dodd was on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen where she attempted to apologize for her behavior during the pandemic. Andy asked her questions about her “Coronavirus is God’s way of thinning the herd” comment. Kelly said she regretted it, and followed it with a contradictory statement about how she was misinformed about the use of masks.
But here we are, months later, and Kelly is still making the same type of inflammatory statements and then offering empty apologies for them. Andy asked her again at the season 15 reunion if she regretted her behavior, and she noted that she hated wearing masks. “I said some things that I regret. I feel bad for anybody who lost loved ones. Did I take it seriously? Yes, but I was frustrated.”
Andy noted that her behavior on social media outraged a lot of people, which had people reaching out to him saying she was uneducated and a moron. She claimed she had not lost any followers and had actually gained a fanbase based on her opinions. According to Social Blade, Kelly indeed lost a lot of followers around the time she made each statement, such as in March, July, and September.
At one point, Andy asked if she ever considered simply not posting something that might be taken the wrong way. Obviously, such thoughts never occurred to Mrs. Kelly Dodd Leventhal. When Andy asked if she was worried about being on the wrong side of history, you could tell she believed she was on the right side of history.
But it is the same thing every time with Kelly. She says something stupid, offers a half-hearted apology, and says something stupid again within hours. Kelly even compared wearing pants to contain a fart to wearing a mask to protect you from the virus.
Sometimes it is just impossible to make someone as dense as Kelly realize they are wrong. It’s like a cow’s opinion, it’s a moo point. No one, no scientist or doctor, will be able to change Kelly’s opinion on science. So…moo.
The Real Housewives of Orange County is on Bravo every Wednesday at 9 PM.
