Erika Girardi is busy deflecting from her legal troubles with heavily glammed looks for The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, but is that the wrong move?

Though the case against Erika Girardi and Tom Girardi is on hold for a few days, Erika is still filming for the upcoming season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.  If you’ve been paying attention in recent days, Erika’s behavior on social media is, if nothing else, bizarre.  She recently posted a photo to her Instagram in full Christmas glam, with a filming notice in the background.   Attorney Emily D. Baker spoke about the topic on her YouTube channel, pointing out a few of the interesting tidbits Erika has been up to lately.

Justice Tricia A. Bigelow

About a week ago, Erika Jayne posted a screenshot of a conversation, allegedly between Tom and Justice Tricia A. Bigelow.  The caption read, “This is Justice Tricia A. Bigelow. She was [expletive] my husband Tom Girardi and he was paying her Saks bill and paying for her plastic surgery.”  The photo wasn’t up for very long, but it apparently showed her full phone number, and Bigelow received harassing calls because of it.  The article continued to shade Tom and Erika:

"Girardi, 81, made a fortune suing big corporations, and he spent freely on a lavish lifestyle that included private planes, blowout parties and, for 49-year-old Jayne, a middle-aged attempt at a singing career."

According to the Los Angeles Times, Alan Jackson, an attorney for Bigelow said that Erika’s “actions in maliciously doxxing the Justice were nothing short of criminal.”  Jackson said they were considering their options to further protect his client from harassment.  What would possess Erika to do this?  Did she think this was a good way of deflecting from her current situation?

Is the glam squad getting paid?

While Erika and her husband are being accused of embezzling money from victims all over the place, she seems to have no desire to curtail her over-the-top social media presence.  There is a sexy lingerie photoshoot a bit further back, another glammed-up Christmas photoshoot, and many other heavily worked on photos gracing her Instagram.  If nothing else, these posts are in very poor taste.  Not only that, but the affair accusations in the midst of the rest of the posts were odd.  If her point was to show that Tom was unfaithful to gain sympathy, she missed the mark.

Those lyrics will come back to haunt them!

Erika has the right to do whatever she wants on Instagram for now.  While a lot of celebs have pre-scheduled posts, wouldn’t a lot of people in her position go into hiding?  Her actions seem to echo one of her more popular songs, “How many [expletives] do I give?  None, not one, zero, zero, zero, done.”  But if she had any sort of remorse for her and Tom’s actions, she probably would not be so obtuse.

This case is far from over at this point, but Erika seems in too deep.  Her upcoming storyline has to be about the divorce and the lawsuit, but even then, she can’t say much about ongoing cases.  For The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, ignoring the real drama is almost part of the show now.  This will fit right in!

Erika Girardi & The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills will be back next year on Bravo.
