As the news on Erika Girardi and Tom Girardi mounts, the situation for The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star looks dimmer with every passing day.

Erika Girardi is due in court today over the freezing of her and Tom Girardi’s assets, but things are still not looking good for the couple.  A lot happened over the weekend, and the situation is moving at a rapid pace.  Since Erika is going to be in court this morning, we will probably see a lot more forward movement this week.  The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is currently filming and Erika is contractually obligated to film, but who knows how long that will last.

Erika is being charged with contempt over the selling of her clothes online through the French retailer, Vestiaire Collective.  Since Erika and Tom’s assets are frozen, Erika was hit with a contempt suit to stop her from making money through selling her luxury goods.  According to Wikipedia, contempt of court “is the offense of being disobedient to or disrespectful toward a court of law and its officers in the form of behavior that opposes or defies the authority, justice, and dignity of the court.”  Tom’s firm said that they only had $15 thousand in the bank and could not pay the victims their owed money, so if Erika is selling Gucci jackets, the money should be going to the victims.

In addition to that, Tom is being accused of settling cases without consulting with clients prior to doing so.  Law360 says that families of a Boeing crash are alleging that Tom and David Lira confidently settled cases during a mediation session.  Tom and Lira claim they had the authority to do so, but the suit says otherwise.

Robert Keese, her retired partner is now suing Girardi himself, in addition to two former partners of the firm, Lira and Robert Finnerty.  Lira is apparently related to Tom and has been dragged into the mess.  The website for Girardi Keese, Tom’s firm, is now down.  GirardiKeese.com says “GirardiKeese.com is Down.  If you are the site owner, please contact system admin.”

Over the weekend, Erika accused Tom of having an affair with Justice Tricia A. Bigelow back in 2015 or 2005.  She posted photos of their screenshots and claimed Tom was footing the bill for “her Saks bill and paying for her plastic surgery.”  She quickly deleted the texts after the comments did not paint her in a good light.  Is she really saying they embezzled $30 million in from victims because he had an affair a while back?

At this point, the sheer amount of cases being brought against Tom, his firm, and Erika makes them look guilty.  That doesn’t mean that they are guilty of everything they are being accused of, but surely some of this has truth to it.  It’s going to be an XXPEN$IVE couple of months for the Girardi family.

Erika Girardi & The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills will be back next year on Bravo.
