Vanderpump Rules: The mortgages of Jax Taylor & Stassi Schroeder

What do we think life after the once-hit show Vanderpump Rules will look like for Jax Taylor, Stassi Schroeder, and Kristen Doute as season 9 looms?

The journey that Jax Taylor and Stassi Schroeder were together on is a wild ride.  The pair was in a tumultuous relationship prior to being on Vanderpump Rules, but filming really sent them into a relationship of pure joy.  Just kidding, they both looked like insane people incapable of being in a relationship.  The former reality stars have a new reality settling in: life without being on television.

The couples all moved into the San Fernando Valley to buy similar white-on-white houses in the same neighborhood.  Jax and Brittany bought what Bravo touted as a $1.9 million “L.A. mansion.”  At 3,800 square feet, the couple will have plenty of room to store corn and Bath & Body Works candles, but that sounds like a heck of a mortgage!

Stassi purchases a $1.7M Hollywood Hills home for herself and Beau Clark.  The home is less cookie-cutter than the rest, but at what cost?  Now that both of them have been fired from the show, how are those mortgages going to work out for them?  They will probably be fine for a while, but both Jax, Stassi, and even Kristen Doute seem to be banking on a new show on a new network.  They’ve all been hinting towards something since the other news broke, but what if that doesn’t pan out?

Since Jax and Brittany Cartwright were not signed on again for season 9, Jax only seems slightly unhinged.  They buy three-wick candles in wholesale numbers but pay retail prices regularly.  Jax is going to have to sit Brittany down to discuss her candle habit pretty soon.  Stassi once said she hoped her dream house would be haunted, but probably not by ghosts of paychecks past.

Stassi seems to be doing okay with a constant stream of self-paparazzi’d photos in various gossip mags, mostly Us Weekly.  No matter what day it is, you can find the minute details of Stassi and Beau’s daily life in Us Weekly.  Stassi sitting by the tree, Stassi in Target, Stassi at the dentist.  Just kidding about the last one, but it seems she does have some sort of money coming in from sharing her life.

Stassi has a gaggle of loyal fans that she called her Khaleesis, but Jax surely does not have the same kind of pull.  No matter what they do next as a group, there will certainly be some fans that follow them.

We still have no confirmation of a season 9 but it seems something might be in the works to try and sort of save the show.  Is that what the people want?  That still remains unknown for now, but there is always Marriage Boot Camp!
