Amid rumors that The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills has shut down filming due to the coronavirus, Kyle Richards posts about being sick.
Just yesterday, People confirmed that filming for The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills was shutting down for two weeks because of a scare with the coronavirus. On Thanksgiving, Kyle Richards was very active on social media, sharing television shows and old family photos on her Instagram stories, but no posts with her family. The girls seemed to have celebrated with friends and other people but were not around Kyle. No word on where Mauricio Umansky spent the day, either!
Late yesterday, she thanked Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave for dropping off a single lettuce leaf for her family to share since she couldn’t cook. Just kidding, Kyle said Teddi dropped off a Thanksgiving meal at 7 AM since she was “not feeling well” and was “unable to cook.” It does not seem that Kyle and her family celebrated the day together, and we know Kyle wouldn’t give up a holiday gathering easily!
Just last week, Kyle received backlash when she posted a photo of her youngest daughter, Portia, getting her ears pierced with the support of Alexia, Farrah, Sophia, and herself gathered around for support. They brought someone into their home to pierce her ears and he had a mask on, but no one else did. A lot of commenters called it dramatic, which it was, but if Kyle gathers her whole family for ear piercing, we know she wouldn’t cancel Thanksgiving all willy-nilly.
It hasn’t been confirmed why production shut down, but to be proactive about things, they could have shut down due to any number of reasons. They will likely be shut down through the beginning of December which is usually a big time for filming events.
Perhaps Kyle just came into contact with someone who might have contracted the virus. We know production is taking it very seriously, so it could just be a precaution. Either way, we hope she feels better soon. We also hope someone dropped off a real Thanksgiving meal after Teddi left, because no one needs to diet on Thanksgiving.
