Meredith Marks got real on The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City last night when she discussed the separation from her husband, Seth.
The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City released their third episode early this week and we got some tea from the future about Meredith Marks and her husband! This week, her husband Seth questioned if Meredith had told other people that they were separated. Meredith didn’t seem to want to discuss that on camera, but it seems that the pair has not reconciled much since then.
Brooks commented that he took a year off from school when he heard that his parents were separating. While he had our attention, he said that Jen Shah made him very uncomfortable while she was visiting the house. To be fair, she laid on the couch on her back and did some sort of faux-cheer thing in a miniskirt and it wasn’t a great look.
Meredith has posted with Seth a few times on her Instagram, complete with her wedding ring. Because of her line of work, Meredith Marks Jewelry, she always has a ton of jewelry on anyway. This footage was filmed a long time ago, so it’s totally possible that the time apart brought them back together.
“Seth and I have been together for a really long time,” Meredith commented about the revelation. “We met when we were 23, got married at 24, and had a baby at 25.” She went on to say it was what she wanted at the time but over time, things changed. Seth was quick to respond that he wanted to be with Meredith and wanted his partner and soulmate.
In a recent interview with Entertainment Tonight, Meredith noted that she and Seth had a long history of separating and reconnecting during their marriage. “It was not something we were ever public about, because our children never knew — we were separated, we had dated other people at times.” They always kept it quiet for the sake of the kids, but once the kids grew up and moved on, it forced the couple to face the reality of the situation. However, Meredith says we have to stick around to see how things work out.
We hope things work out for the couple in the end since they were together for 25 years before the split. It sounds like Seth filed something but dismissed it before filming started and since then, there hasn’t been much more movement. Mazel to that!
The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City is on Bravo every Wednesday at 10 PM.
