RHOP: Michael Darby said Ashley Darby was “molesting” him with calls

Michael Darby has been busy on this season of The Real Housewives of Potomac, but it isn’t because he is helping his wife, Ashley Darby.

While Ashley Darby was off to Portugal with the rest of The Real Housewives of Potomac cast, Michael Darby was “home” with the baby.  We did learn this episode that one of the reasons that Ashley is backing Monique Samuels so hard is because of the butt grabbing incident last season at Monique’s home.

It has long been rumored that Monique and Ashley had some sort of agreement or secret that was making Ashley side with Monique so much.  Now, it seems we know that because Monique didn’t turn over any video footage from the incident, Ashley is going to side with Monique.  Ashley was asked to write a statement about the night that Candiace Dillard Bassett threatened her with a knife.

But the situation surrounding the event is so dark.  Michael, a wealthy white dude, just gets away with grabbing butts on camera and has the ability to continue to assault people if he wants to.  He gets to cheat on his wife and embarrass her publicly, he gets to ignore her calls, and last night, he said that she was “molesting” him by calling him.

Their agreement was that Michael would be home by 7 to relieve the babysitter and put Dean to bed.  When he was not home by 7, Ashley was obviously upset.  Is he back out at the strip club?  Is he drunk at some bar, grabbing butts?  “I wasn’t being the supportive wife I had been,” Ashley told the group over dinner.  “I want you to stop taking responsibility and putting, like, the weight on you being a new mother and navigating that. He needs to support you,” Robyn Dixon said to Ashley.

It is wild that Ashley’s castmates are more supportive of her than Michael has ever been.  All Ashley wanted was to know Michael was at home with their baby and he said, “I can’t do this. I can’t be molested like this.”  He then hung up the phone and refused to answer her calls. What a poor choice of words for someone accused of molesting people himself.

For someone that had his back this entire time, was dragged into a lawsuit about his harassment, went on the local news to defend him, watched her husband stand in a hotel room in his underwear with a random girl who sent the story to the blogs, and forgave him for cheating on her publically, Michael Darby really is a disgusting man.

The Real Housewives of Potomac will be back next Sunday at 9 PM.
