The rumors about Kathy Hilton and The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills are getting louder with each passing day, but it’s officially official now!

The idea of Kathy Hilton joining the cast of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills has been tossed around for years, but it sounds like she will appear on the 11th season of the show.  According to an Instagram post from Bravo, Kathy will join Kyle Richards along with the other housewives as an official friend of the cast.  “She’s not just a Friend Of—she’s family! Please welcome @kathyhilton to #RHOBH,” the post read.

Kyle first floated the idea of her other sister joining the cast back in 2019 while she was on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen.  “I’ve had one sister on, why not have another sister on?” Kyle asked Andy Cohen.  While Andy didn’t seem to hate the idea, others felt differently about the news.  Many viewers didn’t love the idea because they feel Kyle controls a lot of the RHOBH narrative already.

To be fair, Kathy might be the only one who could possibly stand up to Kyle on the show.  It would be highly entertaining to watch the Richards sister dynamic on-screen, especially since we know how it went before with Kim Richards.  We just hope Kathy doesn’t join the group to do splits with her sister, but we’re totally down to see a huge part at the Hilton home.

Kathy has recently been under fire for her role in her a documentary about her daughter, Paris Hilton, called This is Paris.  She also has a tendency to confirm news like this in public Instagram comments, which is even funnier to us.  Will she print out texts to prove her point?  Only time will tell.  Welcome to the group, little Kathy.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills will be back next year on Bravo.
