RHOBH: Kyle Richards says she and Denise Richards are “in a good place”
By Amanda Cline
Kyle Richards says she and Denise Richards are okay now following the season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills where everyone bullied Denise.
Kyle Richards spoke to Us Weekly recently and gave an update on her relationship with Denise Richards since she decided to leave The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Kyle told the magazine that even though things did not end in a great place with Denise, she has reached out via text and things are okay now. “We’re in a good place, but I would have loved to come back and work through all that.”
In defense of her use of the term “ragamuffin,” Kyle stuck to her story that she didn’t mean it in a nasty way. She did note that her tone was not the best and she regretted how it sounded, but that ragamuffin wasn’t a horrible word to use.
At one point, Kyle said that even though the ratings were off the charts this season, it was not her favorite season. Unfortunately, many of the “official” sources note that this was the worst season of RHOBH to date, ratings-wise. Even though the drama with Denise brought a lot of viewers in, overall, it just wasn’t a highly rated season. The premiere episode was also one of the worst in the show’s history, something many viewers attribute to the lack of Lisa Vanderpump.
Obviously, Kyle took the time to remind everyone that she was working at the time filming for Halloween Kills, while also working on her clothing line Kyle and Shahida, which excused her from her behavior. Just kidding. Denise was actually working almost every day filming for The Bold and the Beautiful and a ton of other things, including Paper Empire, FraXtur, Saturday at the Starlight, Glow&Darkness, and Among the Ashes, according to her IMDB page.
In addition to The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills having a bad season, Kyle ultimately had one of her worst seasons to date. She was shown as a manipulative bully and her take on things in this article shows that she hasn’t really learned anything from her mistakes. The “Mean Girls of Beverly Hills” were in full force this season and viewers did not enjoy the negativity they brought.
It was not a good season because she and the other women spent their time harassing Denise instead of being entertaining. If Kyle thinks she buried the hatchet with Denise, it’s probably because Denise does not care at all about what Kyle has to say.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills will be back next year on Bravo.
