Another day, another unconfirmed rumor told as truth by Brandi Glanville about the upcoming season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
Since Brandi Glanville never lies according to Kyle Richards, do we believe her that Kathy Hilton is going to be an official “friend” during the next season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills? Realistically, we should never believe anything Brandi says if the last season of the show taught us anything. On Brandi Glanville Unfiltered’s episode, Too Much in Common w/ Barbara Kavovit, Brandi “confirmed” Kathy Hilton would be joining the cast.
Kathy is Kyle Richards’ sister and is the last remaining Richards sister to not be an official cast member. Now that Kyle has cleared out Lisa Vanderpump, Denise Richards, and Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave, it makes sense she’s ready to beef up the cast with more people on her team. But why would Kathy agree to join the cast now? And why would Brandi know it?
This all goes back to Brandi being hot and cold with Bravo and the rest of the cast. She just sits in the wings and waits for her chance to show up to a party or to talk to the blogs about what is going on. So, is Brandi involved in the show or is she not? Because listening to her spread rumors as truth when she knows nothing of the situation is getting old.
If Evolution Media was paying attention at all, they would have dismantled the Mean Girls, i.e. Rinna, Kyle, and Erika Jayne, and brought some diversity to the cast…not hired Kyle’s SISTER. Brandi said on her podcast that the family dynamic makes it interesting, but viewers and fans are not in agreement with that. Plus, Kathy is a relatively private person given her social status. Why would she blow that up after all of these years?
So far, Brandi is the only source for this rumor and we hope it isn’t true. Plus, who would be friends with Brandi and give her confidential information at this stage in the game? No one smart, that’s for sure. However, if anyone can expose Queen Kyle Richards…it would be Kathy. We take solace in that!
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills will be back next year on Bravo.
