Teresa Giudice and Joe Giudice finalized their divorce and will split the proceeds from the sale of their giant New Jersey home featured on RHONJ.
All good things must come to an end, they say. That might not apply to Teresa Giudice and Joe Giudice’s marriage specifically, but they have finalized their divorce. On top of that, Teresa and Joe listed their giant New Jersey house for sale as part of the divorce agreement. The home was featured on The Real Housewives of New Jersey through it all: babies, deaths, divorces, parties, and gymnastics routines ending in a single chipped tooth. It was also the setting for Giacinto “Nonno” Gorga boiling his octopus at 6 AM. Rest in peace, Nonno.
Michelle Pais has listed the property that she and Joe shared before they both went to prison for their crimes. Joe now lives in Italy permanently and Teresa will remain in the New Jersey area for their daughters. The divorce was anticipated in the wake of their personal drama, but the pair had been married for 20 years.
A source spoke to People and said that the pair are in a better place now and support one another in their new ventures. “They still have love for each other, they just aren’t in love with each other.” The divorce is the end of a long road that went from fraud, prison, ICE detention centers, and finally ended with Joe’s deportation.
Teresa recently re-did some of the rooms in her home with an interior designer Jimmy DeLaurentis and updated a lot of the furniture in the living areas. The house was known for its intense Italian/Tuscan/Mediterranean themed rooms and gold features…everywhere. Teresa recently added a pool in the backyard, too. The pool is not gold, thankfully.
The girls were able to visit their dad in Italy a few times but obviously have not been able to go due to travel restrictions lately. Hopefully, they can get back over there when it is safe to do so.
The Real Housewives of New Jersey will be back later this year.
