RHOBH: Garcelle Beauvais has joined the cast of “The Real”
By Amanda Cline
Garcelle Beauvais has officially joined another television show on a different channel, but what does this mean for her future on RHOBH?
Hold on to your remotes, Real Housewives of Beverly Hills fans! Garcelle Beauvais will be joining Adrienne Houghton, Jeannie Mai, and Loni Love on the daytime talk show The Real. The show will begin its 7th season on September 21 with a revamped cast. This isn’t her first daytime television show, either. Garcelle co-hosted “Hollywood Today Live” a few years back as well.
But what does this mean for RHOBH?
Right now, The Real is filming all of the segments virtually and from the homes of the co-hosts. So, it could potentially fit into her schedule along with the Housewives. But even though fans seem to really enjoy Garcelle on the show, it hasn’t been a great run for her and her friend Denise Richards. It would surprise no one if she walked away from this ticking time bomb.
Garcelle has already stated that if Denise didn’t return, she likely would not either. After how Lisa Rinna has been treating Garcelle, the fake story timelines, and the shady deleted-scenes by production, perhaps the drama just isn’t worth the paycheck.
One of the criticisms that Garcelle received from viewers and co-stars alike was that she just seemed too busy for The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. She missed a few events due to filming Coming 2 America, which will be released in December of this year, in addition to filming for the TV show Tell Me a Story for CBS all access.
Garcelle’s IMDB page is a testament to how hard she works. Since 2018 alone, she’s had 12 major projects! She’s even working on her own podcast, Going to Bed with Garcelle, and has been releasing episodes weekly.
Denise has been juggling filming a TV show along with her Bravo duties, and Eileen Davidson did it for two shows while filming for Housewives. Where there’s a will, there’s a way! We don’t blame for not having a will, but we sure hope she sticks around for another season.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is on Bravo on Wednesdays at 9 PM ET.
