RHONY: Is Dorinda Medley angry or in denial? Or equally both?

While the RHONY ladies are in Mexico, Dorinda Medley is on an island by herself called Denial, and there’s no room service there.

For such a privileged group of women, the RHONY cast has a serious drinking problem.  The most recent episode showed all of the women blaming one another for having one problem or another.  Dorinda Medley was yelling at Ramona Singer, Ramona was yelling at Leah McSweeney, Luann de Lesseps was mad at Sonja Morgan, and Sonja was just too wasted to talk.

“She’s judging me for my drinking?  You went to jail for your drinking,” Dorinda slurred at Luann about Ramona.  Luann was actually doing her best to help the group and was holding it together, but the verbal daggers were still heading in her direction.  When Lu tried to get an apology out of Dorinda, all Dorinda did was deflect.  There was no apology in the forecast.

Dorinda can point fingers all she wants, but she’s definitely the angriest one of the group this season.  No one is safe from her statements and her accusations after a few vodka sodas, ask Tinsley Mortimer.

It is almost like she knows exactly what her problem is and at the first mention of it, she just attacks.  She’s like a scared animal backed into a corner.

As we noted before, Dorinda isn’t very fun to watch these days.  It seems that Dorinda is willing to discuss everyone else’s drinking problems, but she sure isn’t going to admit she has a problem anytime soon.  At the same time, it would be a step in the right direction if we ever saw that kind of clarity from Dorinda.

Honestly, just because Luann got arrested doesn’t mean she’s less of a person in comparison to Dorinda.  If nothing else, it helped give her perspective and improve her life in a way it would not have been without her interaction with the legal system.  Dorinda seems like she isn’t going to stop until she gets her own slice of humble pie – and she’s first in line at the cafeteria.
