Real Housewives of Potomac: Meet the newest housewife Wendy Osefo
By Amanda Cline
The Real Housewives of Potomac has a new housewife joining the cast and Wendy Osefo is bringing a lot to the table! Check out her story.
Wendy Osefo is joining The Real Housewives of Potomac for season five and she could not be joining at a better time! Wendy is a professor, political analyst, and entrepreneur from Maryland, but was born in Nigeria, according to her bio on BravoTV.com. Wendy has a “Bachelor of Arts from Temple University, a Master of Arts from The Johns Hopkins University, a Master of Science from Rutgers University, and a Doctor of Philosophy from Rutgers University.” She was also the first woman to earn her Ph.D. in Public Affairs/Community Development.
In case that didn’t paint a clear enough picture: Wendy has it all and can do it all. Coming into this group of women should be a piece of cake in comparison to what she’s already done! Wendy is married to an attorney named Edward Osefo, with who she shares three children: Karter, Kruz, and Kamrynn.
Though the season was delayed, Wendy has been on Bravo’s Daily Dish discussing the current Black Lives Matter movement and her stance on the issues. “I don’t want allies, I want accomplices,” she said. Wendy also enjoys vacations, cooking for her family, and even interior design.
Wendy seems to be educated, outspoken, and ready to have some fun while probably causing quite the shakeup within the group. Candiace Dillard Bassett said about Wendy, “She can read a book, honey, and she can read you down.”
There will be no shortage of drama this season, especially between Candiace and Monique Samuels, so Wendy should be highly entertained by the mess. The ladies filmed the season a while ago but because of schedule changes due to COVID-19, the premiere is still more than a month out after being delayed.
The trailer shows Wendy, Candiace, Monique, Robyn Dixon, Ashley Darby, and Karen Huger back in action and we can’t wait to see what Wendy brings to the group!

The Real Housewives of Potomac will return for Season 5 on Sunday, August 2 at 9 PM.
