Vanderpump Rules: Brittany Cartwright’s mom is in the ICU

After a stressful week for the Vanderpump Rules cast, Brittany Cartwright’s mom has been hospitalized due to complications from a previous surgery.

Brittany Cartwright’s mom, Sherri Cartwright, was hospitalized over the weekend due to complications from a recent bladder surgery.  The Vanderpump Rules star posted on her Instagram stories on Saturday that she was asking for prayers for her mom who ended up in the ICU, according to People.  Brittany was still in California but was trying to make her way to Kentucky to be with her mom.  Hospitals in Kentucky are still limiting visitors due to COVID-19 which has complicated the process further.

The news of Sherri’s hospitalization was actually broke by their pastor who caused all kinds of drama with Brittany and Jax Taylor’s wedding.  Ryan Dotson posted on his Facebook that Sherri was back in the hospital and asked for prayers for his friend for a full recovery.

Sherri was scheduled to have the surgery back at the end of March and Tweeted that she would be recovering with Jax and Brittany in California.  It isn’t clear if the complications kept her in Kentucky or if she already visited and returned, but she remains in the hospital as of this week.

Brittany has been doing her best to stay out of the news after the firing of her friends Stassi Schroeder and Kristen Doute.  Brittany was accused of making a derogatory statement about Faith Stowers’ hair but has since denied the accusation, according to People.  Jax cheated on Brittany with Faith before they were married but Brittany has denied that she made any comments about Faith – even in the heat of the moment.

While Brittany collected prayers on social media, Jax was busy posting about a new street legal golf cart he bought.  He’s always the most supportive husband.
