Southern Charm isn’t so charming anymore with Kathryn Dennis continuing to apologize for her monkey emoji use – but fans aren’t buying it.

In light of recent events, Kathryn Dennis has climbed out of her privileged hole to further defend her use of the monkey emoji.  Kathryn had not said much publicly since May 11 when all of the initial Southern Charm drama went down, but she’s back on twitter and apologizing again for her response.  ICYMI: Kathryn used the monkey emoji in response to a tweet by Mika Gadsden who was calling out Kathryn’s friends for organizing a political rally.

Since Kathryn was caught in all of the surrounding drama with her castmates, Cameran Eubanks announced she was done with the show, followed by Naomie Olindo and Chelsea Meissner.  That leaves Craig Conover, Shep Rose, Kathryn, and Austen Kroll for season seven – if that ever comes to fruition.

Kathryn certainly had a redemption storyline during season six, but it appears that is no longer the case.  Her issues with Thomas Ravenel were always intertwined with the show and it is rumored that he is expecting another child with a nurse in Charleston.

Kathryn was accused of starting the rumors that Cameran’s husband was unfaithful and that’s why she was leaving the show, but that has not been confirmed still.  So far, we don’t know anything besides what has come from the cast directly.

Even Kathryn’s close friend, Danni Baird, was tired of her actions at the end of last season when she called her obnoxious and irresponsible.  Danni has been fairly quiet on social media in response to her friend Kathryn but we’re sure she does not support hateful comments of any kind.

Kathryn thanked her fans and apologized again for offending people, but it might be too late.  No official casting decisions have been made public yet, but Kathryn’s apology tour remains scheduled for the foreseeable future.

Southern Charm will be back later in 2020…hopefully.
