Southern Charm: Kathryn Dennis started the rumors about Cameran Eubanks?

Southern Charm fans have been left reeling this week with all of the news about the show, but Kathryn Dennis is allegedly the cause of some of them?

After Cameran Eubanks confirmed she was done with Southern Charm earlier in the week, rumors obviously started to fly about why she was leaving.  One of the reasons reported by People was that her husband, Jason Wimberly, had cheated on her with a long affair.  It was rumored that Rebecca Wash, a professional makeup artist for Kathryn Dennis, was the other guilty party.

Cameran took to her Instagram to assure fans that the reason she left was not leaving due to an affair, but due to wanting to spend time with her family.  She also threw some shade about where this rumor might have originated from.

"“Drama is needed to stay relevant on reality television and sadly false rumors about others are sometimes created.  Make of that what you will and consider the source.”"

Rebecca also posted on her personal Instagram that she had never even met Cameran and Jason, let alone had a relationship with Jason.  She also said she met Kathryn once back in 2018 and did her makeup once, but has not spoken to her since, but outed her as the source of the rumor.

But now that the rumors are out there, and Naomie Olindo and Chelsea Meissner are also done, has Kathryn really burned all of those bridges?  It seems that she not only started this rumor, but is part of the reason three of the cast members are done.  Naomie posted an Instagram story in support of Cameran and said:

"To all those asking why Cameran, Chelsea, and I (and anyone with a life they want to protect) quit the show.  It’s s*** like this.  Shame on you, @kathryndennis for this and MANY other things 🐒"

It appears that Cameran, Chelsea, and Naomie are over all of the reality television drama and what that brings to their lives.  Kathryn’s behavior has, over and over again, proven to be problematic – but this is low, even for her.  After the monkey business earlier this week, Kathryn was let go from Gwynn’s in a public Instagram statement.  The idea has been thrown around that Kathryn perhaps started these rumors to take the heat off of herself.  The timing is suspicious, isn’t it?

So the cast of the show is Craig Conover, Kathryn Dennis, Austen Kroll, Shep Rose and…some new people.  Sounds dark.
