The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills attended Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave’s All In by Teddi retreat…and things did not go well.
This week, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills attended Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave’s All in by Teddi retreat. The retreat is touted as a way to get a “handle” on your health and fitness journey, but I’m not exactly sure how. Though we didn’t see the whole retreat, where is the value in such a retreat?
You can sign up for this retreat on Teddi’s website. On RetreatGuru.com, you could book the four-day event for $3,899.00 per person. This included your lodging, brunch and dinner, a “Living Vision Book Workshop with Heather Hayward & Dawn Alane Kelmenson,” some workouts, and a gift bag. A room for the same time in 2020 will run you about $1,700 for the three-night stay. Dorit Kemsley didn’t love the retreat, perhaps she thought it was too expensive?
What we saw on this week’s RHOBH was a group kickboxing session in the morning, followed by 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM free time, followed by meditation. Her website described the retreat as “ALL IN is an accountability program empowering women to be their best selves by partnering up for positive change.” How did the retreat accomplish any of that?
How does group kickboxing for $1,000 empower anyone besides Teddi? The core of the time spent at the retreat was free time, of which Teddi encouraged her customers to walk the beach to “nourish their soul.” Day one also included a workshop on how to say “no.” How can I say no to a $4,000 workout session?
It really didn’t seem like the retreat had any benefits a day at a large-scale gym didn’t offer. All Teddi did was yell at people and feed them fajitas. Was that really worth almost $4,000? Don’t even get us started on the rest of the accountability program.
If you’re in the market for a Teddi journal, it can be yours for $24. So reasonably priced, along with everything else.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills will be back Wednesday at 8 PM on Bravo!
