The Vanderpump Rules boys have stepped up to help their TomTom staff in a time of need by raising money through Cameo videos.
The Vanderpump Rules stars and TomTom 5% owners are trying to do their part while their staff is out of work due to the coronavirus. Tom Sandoval and Tom Schwartz have offered to match up to $10,000 raised for their staff through Cameo. You can find the Cameo from these two for an easy $150 if you have a lot of money to waste.
There were a lot of questions about why Lisa Vanderpump wasn’t pitching in to help her out of work staff, to which there was no reply. When asked on Instagram, Tom and Tom said that they were doing what they could as 5% owners. Aka, they have no actual influence over what happens to the staff and no actual say in the situation. You can check out the rest of the comments on Tom’s Instagram post.
There was no confirmation one way or another about Lisa and Ken Todd’s contributions to the staff, so we can’t comment on that. Most of the staff is simply out of work right now as restaurants and bars are not operating in a normal capacity.
Unfortunately, there is no end in sight for a lot of staff and owners. Most restaurants are closed through mid-April and that could be extended at any point. Depending on your state, some are open for take-out but some have ceased operations altogether. NPR even reported this week that due to all the forced closures, the “restaurant industry faces collapse” due to the abrupt shut down of business.
You can check out some of the Cameo’s done by Tom & Tom so far on their page – and some of them are pretty funny. If you need a laugh, check them out! If you want to support the boys and their staff, get a Cameo of your own and report back!
