Vanderpump Rules: What’s worse, a puppy party or a lizard memorial?
By Amanda Cline
The cast of Vanderpump Rules rallied around Tom Sandoval for his birthday party after attending a memorial service for Daug the lizard.
Last season, all of the cast members on Vanderpump Rules threw a fit at the idea of attending Raquel Leviss and James Kennedy’s puppy shower for their new dog, Graham. But this season the cast attended 45 different wedding events for Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright while dressed up like a princess in pajamas.
Everyone (read: Jax) is complaining about dressing up to attend Tom Sandoval’s “extra” birthday party. Jax definitely has the least room to talk after making everyone fly to Kentucky for a wedding by the highway sponsored by Hooters. The whole group loves a themed party so I’m not sure why Tom’s party is an issue – he throws one every year.
Anyway, before the birthday party, everyone attended the memorial service for Daug the lizard that Tom Schwartz killed by neglecting him. But, you know, celebrating the adoption of a puppy is just out of bounds for such a miserable group.
Tom Sandoval’s “extra” birthday party rolls around and the crew dressed up in their finest costume wear (except Jax) to be extra. “I’m extra annoyed that Sandoval is throwing and extra themed party,” Jax said as he walked in looking extra stupid.
At the party, Stassi Schroeder, Katie Malone Schwartz, and Scheana Shay decided to band together to talk about how they are mad at Kristen Doute. The only time they include Scheana is to make someone else feel bad, which makes me feel bad for Scheana.
The girls got into a fight with Kristen to remind her that they hate her and her not-boyfriend, Brian Carter. At this point, I don’t know why Kristen sticks around just to be talked down to by her former friends. Will these guys ever come back together, or is the friendship too far gone? There was no resolution at the extra party and based on the preview for next week, resolution is not in the near future either.
Vanderpump Rules is on Bravo every Tuesday at 9 PM!
